Pay It Forward

Locks of Love

As you may or may not know, Kathryn was growing her hair out in order to donate it to Locks of Love.  She had it at the right length to donate, but was waiting for it to grow a bit longer so she could still pull it back for her dance classes.  Kathryn was never able to donate her long, beautiful hair, so in her memory, her sister, Elizabeth and brother, Nicholas have donated their own hair.

Locks of Love is a non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to finacially disadvantaged children 18 years and younger suffering from long-term medical hair loss.  Most of the children helped by Locks of Love have lost their hair due to a medical condition called alopecia areata, which has no known cause or cure.  Locks of Love helps to restore self-esteem and confidence, enabling these children to face the world and their peers.

We have decided to make this a KBMF event in hopes that more people will donate their hair for this wonderful cause.  If you would like to participate, you are welcome to send us before and after pictures of the main event! Soon you will see pictures below of the people who have already donated their hair in memory of Kathryn in order to help others.
